    With just 8 days to go until the opening of the 2015 Taihu Midi Music Festival, over a hundred Chinese and international bands and musicians will deliver a musical extravaganza at the beautiful shores of Taihu Lake for music fans from all over China.     Currently, anyone who purchases tickets for the Taihu Midi Music Festival from the official Midi-produced Taobao store will receive coupons for merchandise. These can be used either at the festival or for regular online shopping—check with the Midi Taobao customer service for more details. This year, the official Midi merchandise area is offering new T-shirts and five cool classic Midi backpacks, as well as five limited-edition tins of Midi merch. It’s said that if you collect all five, something special might happen… Be sure to stop by during the festival. The Midi grading online education videos have now officially launched exclusively on Tudou and the Tudou Music mobile app. In the Midi Grading Exhibition area at the festival, in addition to demonstrations by Midi teachers and students, there will also be guest performances by various bands—come say hello up close.

This year, Alipay becomes the official sole electronic ticketing channel for the entire Midi Music Festival. The Taihu Midi Music Festival site features an ultra-cool extreme sports area with activities like rock climbing and skateboarding. The park’s original kid-friendly attractions, such as amusement rides, go-karts, and a haunted house, will also remain open as usual (fees for these activities are not included in the festival ticket and must be purchased separately on-site). Camping Guide

To provide better services for fans, the Midi Camp includes a mini supermarket, dining area, hot showers, mobile toilets, baggage storage, campsite lighting, sanitation cleaning, phone charging, boiling water, as well as rental and sale of camping equipment. Equipment available for rent or purchase includes: tents, moisture-proof mats, sleeping bags, camp lights, raincoats, and more.

II. Midi Camp Check-in Procedure

1. First, purchase a Midi Music Festival ticket (either single-day or festival pass).

2. Go to the Midi Camp entrance, show your original ID for registration, and receive a wristband.

3. Bring your own gear or pay the tent rental fee and deposit at the tent rental booth.

4. Set up your tent according to the campsite layout and follow the instructions of the staff.

5. After camping, return the tent and collect your deposit.

1. Rental per double tent:

Deposit: 100 RMB.

3. Rental of moisture-proof mats:

12 RMB/day; 22 RMB for two days; 30 RMB for three days;

VI. Friendly Reminders

1. Open flames are strictly prohibited in the camp area to prevent fires.

2. Do not bring highly alcoholic beverages, cold fireworks, knives or sharp objects, drugs, or other prohibited items into the camping area. Please cooperate with the on-site security checks conducted by staff.

3. When leaving your tent, please take valuables, cash, and identification with you.

4. Please take care of the tents and keep both the inside of the tents and the camp area clean.

5. There is a service station in the camping area. If you have any questions, please ask the staff for assistance.

 The temperature difference between day and night in May is significant, and there is a high probability of rainy weather in the south. Please bring enough warm clothing and thicker sleeping bags. Finally, please consciously maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the camp area. Do not urinate or defecate in public or litter. The Midi Camp is your home—welcome home!
