Bicycle travel is no longer just about entertainment and leisure. More and more people are joining in, and it can be divided into regular bicycle travel and specialized bicycle travel. The former uses ordinary heavy-duty or standard bicycles, while the latter may opt for specially made racing bikes, mountain bikes, etc. Specialized bicycles travel at higher speeds and are more agile and powerful on different routes. When setting off, carry the most commonly used repair tools such as wrenches, pliers, pumps, and various easily damaged spare parts like ball bearings, spokes, inner tubes, valve cores, and brake pads, so you can make prompt repairs if any issues arise. Regardless of the type of bicycle travel, it's essential to bring all relevant items.
Helmet: Better to sweat than to bleed. A helmet is the top essential among accessories. Prioritize ventilation when choosing one, and also consider factors such as coverage, absorbing material, and adjustability of the buckle strap.
Cycling Jersey: Brightly colored cycling jerseys make riders more visible in traffic, enhancing safety. The back pockets are a highly convenient feature, and breathability and sweat-wicking ability are key factors when making a selection.
Gloves: Gloves mainly help prevent slipping and protect your palms from getting rubbed raw. They are generally divided into half-finger and full-finger types. Full-finger gloves are mostly used by players who engage in intense off-road handling, while half-finger gloves with sweat-absorbing cotton are suitable for casual riding.
Shoes: Compared to regular shoes, hard-soled mountain biking shoes are better suited for pedaling and offer the option to install clipless pedals.
Socks: Regular short cotton socks can also be used.
Seat Bag: Placed under the saddle, a seat bag can hold a spare tire and basic tools while on the road. Its reflective feature provides additional safety benefits.
