The first Xiamen (Haicang) International Mountain Cross-Country Open (shortened as the Haicang Cross-Country Race) will kick off at Tianzhu Mountain on March 3 this year, with registration now open.
It is reported that both the start and finish points of the Haicang Cross-Country Race will be located at Dongfu New City Commercial Street, and the course will run eastward through the entire Tianzhu Mountain Tourist Scenic Area, integrating the low mountain and hilly terrain of Tianzhu Mountain, skillfully connecting the mountain’s vehicle roads, walking paths, and hiking trails. The 60-kilometer course passes most of Tianzhu Mountain’s scenic spots, including the Hundred Bamboo Garden, Tianzhu Lake, Zhenji Temple, Haoyue Lake, and Liang’er Lake, showcasing Haicang’s rich tourism resources.
Registration runs from January 10 to February 10. Events include a 60-kilometer individual category, 30-kilometer individual category, 30-kilometer team category, and 10-kilometer (individual and team) categories. Participants in the 60-kilometer category will only be allowed to compete after approval by the organizing committee.
