At the 20th Asian Rock Climbing Championships held recently in Leye, Guangxi, four students from Shandong Provincial Sports School competed for the Chinese team and ultimately won two gold medals.
The Chinese team secured a total of two championships in this competition, with Shandong Provincial Sports School student Wang Yang winning the women's speed climbing event, while Zhang Ning represented Team China I and triumphed in the mixed-gender relay event against Iran in the finals. In addition, Zhang Yuhang, Wang Yang, Li Guandong, and Zhang Ning participated in individual speed climbing events and represented the national first and second teams in the mixed relay competitions, bringing honor to both the country and the province.
