Legend has it that at the snow-capped summits of the Alps, in places rarely visited by humans, grows a “mountain rose” that fears no cold. Whoever can pick it will be blessed by the gods. And there is only one mysterious “King’s Path” leading to this place, known as ROYALWAY.
In the early 19th century, the young crown prince of Sweden’s Bernadotte (Bernadotte) dynasty encountered and fell in love with a commoner girl while hunting. However, this prince-and-Cinderella-style romance drew strong opposition from the royal family. The young crown prince decided resolutely to pick the legendary “mountain rose” to prove his devotion to love and his longing for freedom. The beautiful girl personally sewed the climbing gear and embroidered it with the “ROYALWAY” emblem, symbolizing the lofty “King’s Path.” She silently wished for the prince’s early return. After overcoming countless hardships and dangers, the brave crown prince picked the most beautiful “mountain rose” and lived a free and happy life with his beloved.
To commemorate their pure love and to express to the world the values of freedom, bravery, and strength, the crown prince maintained the tradition of wearing climbing gear emblazoned with the ROYALWAY family crest when scaling snowy peaks. This also influenced other royal family members to fall in love with the sport, and thus the ROYALWAY brand was born.
Since then, the mountain-shaped logo has accompanied countless people as they bravely climb and overcome obstacles, all in pursuit of their own “mountain rose.”
