2012 was a fruitful year for Outdoor Research. Following the Axiom Active Shell jacket winning the Outside Jacket Category Award in spring, the Lodestar softshell apparel claimed the Polartec 2012 APEX Textile Award. Now, the innovative Endurance gaiters have once again won the 2012 European Outdoor Industry Design Award.
A total of 322 products from 25 countries and regions entered this year’s competition. After rigorous evaluation by a panel of professional judges, 48 products were awarded the European Outdoor Industry Design Award, including 10 that received gold awards. The Outdoor Research Endurance gaiters, a new product for Spring/Summer 2013, feature ultra-lightweight, durable softshell fabric with excellent breathability. They come with a long zip for easy removal, flexible adjustment, a double front buckle design, and sole straps that fit any shoe—making them ideal for fast-paced outdoor activities across various terrains.
