Beginning this fall, Outdoor Research, the world’s leading independent brand of outdoor apparel and accessories, will be the official workwear for the Grand Targhee ski resort in western Wyoming. The resort’s ski patrol, ski guides, naturalists, and hiking guides will all wear OR clothing, gloves, and hats as their uniform. Summer hiking and mountain biking guides will also sport OR gear.
“We were drawn to OR’s extensive product line and outdoor gear offerings. In addition to ski apparel, they have a full range of clothing and accessories for spring and summer. Our resort hosts many outdoor activities in the summer too, so having a comprehensive uniform makes a lot of sense. We’re also planning to collaborate with OR on a series of promotional events,” said Ken Rider, Sales Manager at Grand Targhee Ski Resort.
“Grand Targhee is a beautiful, high-quality ski area nestled in the Grand Teton Mountains, and they share our brand’s commitment to innovative products with great design aesthetics,” said Dave Mahoney, Director of Sales at OR. Speaking about the partnership, Dave expressed his pride: “Grand Targhee will also provide an excellent environment for OR to test products, further helping us refine and expand our outdoor performance product lines.”
Previously, OR has also been named the official apparel for Oregon’s Bachelor ski resort and Washington’s Snoqualmie Pass ski resort.
