On December 5, 2012, the 3rd Kolumb (Golonbu) Forum, themed “Powerful Move, Create Glory Again,” was held at the beginning of the 2013 Autumn/Winter New Product Launch. The attendees were mainly retail clients, and the forum specially invited Mr. Li Qihua, a seasoned expert with years of experience in chain project consulting, to serve as the keynote speaker, achieving great success.

This forum continued its tradition by being held concurrently with the new product launch. On one hand, it took advantage of the launch event to facilitate in-depth communication and interaction between the Kolumb (Golonbu) brand and both new and existing clients, helping clients better understand the brand and enabling the brand to grow more rapidly. On the other hand, it served as an annual joyful gathering for the Kolumb family. The forum was hosted by Li Weijun, whose simple yet sincere opening remarks immediately gave the attendees a strong sense of belonging and identity. The forum specially invited Mr. Li Qihua, a renowned international ICMCI-certified management consultant from Taiwan, Chairman of the Chinese Industry & Commerce Circulation Development Research Association, and an expert dedicated for many years to brand marketing and chain retail project consulting, to deliver a lecture that unfolded the theme of this forum.

Mr. Li Qihua first used a problem-analysis approach to conduct an in-depth analysis of the current international retail market, pointing out the issues in the “management, retail client, and customer layers,” and then expanded on solutions to these three major problems — namely, the three systems that are the focus of this forum: SAP, SOP, and VIP. Mr. Li elaborated on the significant effectiveness of the SAP enterprise management software in addressing management issues, helping clients gain data support in areas such as sales planning, futures procurement, business analysis, and inventory turnover, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business decision-making. This, in turn, enhances Golonbu’s service capability to clients and improves customer satisfaction. Mr. Li began the second topic, the VIP system, with a humorous Q&A between a customer and a salesperson. He first analyzed the critical role that transient customers and loyal customers play in business operational risks. Through risk analysis, he highlighted the importance of promoting the VIP system to minimize business variables, stating that the Kolumb-VIP system is an essential strategic tool for future development. The second half of the forum started at 2:00 PM in the afternoon, focusing on the SOP system, which standardizes the daily operational procedures and requirements for terminal stores. Mr. Li provided an in-depth yet easy-to-understand analysis of the importance of SOP to Golonbu’s development under the current macro environment, its strategic significance in improving terminal operational efficiency and brand image, and guided retail staff to establish excellent retail ethics through detailed training on their behavior and manners — undoubtedly laying the foundation for the later promotion of SOP.

The most notable feature of this event was achieving a leap for the “Forum” from high-level management exchanges to learning and sharing among retail clients. At the end of the forum, the attendees unanimously affirmed the foresight and feasibility of the three systems and expressed strong confidence in the future of Kolumb (Golonbu) over the next decade.

Powerful Move, Create Glory Again. This is not only the theme of this forum but also the boundless vision and firm confidence of the Kolumb (Golonbu) team, who have been dedicated to outdoor sports for ten years, toward the next ten years.
