The prototype of the first "flying electric bicycle" jointly developed by three Czech bicycle companies has been unveiled.

According to British news site Sky News on the 13th, the prototype of the first "flying electric bicycle" jointly created by three Czech bicycle companies has been unveiled.
The "flying electric bicycle" looks like a bulky mountain bike, weighs 95 kilograms, and has propellers on its front, back, left, and right. The engine is powered by six batteries and can currently only fly remotely for five minutes before needing to be recharged. Researchers say that as battery technology improves further, flying bikes will eventually be capable of carrying passengers for extended periods.
The technical director of one of the Czech bicycle companies involved in the development of the flying bike stated that as technology advances, battery capacity doubles every ten years; once the flying bicycle’s battery capacity increases and its weight decreases, it could soon become a viable option. A test pilot of the "flying bicycle" said that controlling the flying bike is a major challenge. Operating a full-sized passenger-carrying flying bicycle is more difficult and complex than controlling toy drones or remote-controlled flying bicycle prototypes.
