On the morning of June 16, the century-old campus of Henan University at the foot of Kaifeng Iron Pagoda turned into a “green” ocean, as students showcased a variety of creative activities to promote a “low-carbon life” in celebration of the upcoming first-ever “National Low-Carbon Day.”
“We’ve always loved cycling—it’s good exercise and also contributes to a low-carbon lifestyle. Why not do it?” Among the thousand-strong cycling group, three sisters from the Law School of Henan University—Wang Mengli, Li Ping, and Sheng Meiling—stood out particularly.
With the launch of the “Low-Carbon & Environmental Protection, Together We Go” campaign, the thousand-strong cycling team from Henan University celebrated youth by practicing low-carbon living.
