17 Malaysian cyclists form a team to support education and help others

　　According to Malaysia’s Guanghua Daily, cycling has become increasingly popular in Sungai Petani, Malaysia, in recent years, and a local cycling team named Bros has garnered considerable attention. The team currently has 17 members, including female rider Wong Chiew Foon. One of the team’s leading figures, Wong Sheng Yu, said the team focuses on teammate camaraderie and actively promotes the philosophy of "health, public welfare, joy, and safety." They also occasionally sign up for races, making it a team filled with honor and dreams.

　　He said that since its establishment, the team has been committed to supporting education and helping others, consistently participating in cycling training rides during holidays, and actively responding to and organizing large-scale charity cycling events. Team members help and support one another during rides, continuously improving their cycling skills and strengthening their awareness of discipline and safety. Even more remarkably, the members have made helping others a goal.

　　He also stated that the team has left its “cycling mark” in Kedah and Penang, visiting places such as Teluk Air Tawar, Gunung Ledang in Jasin, Kek Lok Si Temple’s Guanyin Pavilion in Penang, attractions in the Yan district, Chikus & Cherok Tok Kun, Bukit Mertajam Recreational Forest, and Kampung Gajah Recreational Park — all meaningful spots. He said they hope to continue this spirit in the future, achieving the team members’ dreams through cycling activities.
