Last updated 2026-09-25 — HowToTrip: I noticed you invited Li Tie this year to be a brand ambassador. Why did you choose him? Aiqi: Li Tie is a former national football team player and also China’s Footballer of the Year—that’s one reason. Second, Li Tie played as a defensive midfielder for the national team, and back then people gave him a nickname: “the tireless midfielder...”

HowToTrip:It’s a bit like a smart bracelet
Aiqi: Yes, but it’s different from a smart bracelet. This watch first of all tells time; second, it’s waterproof and sweatproof, so you can wear it swimming without any problem; third, it has strong battery life.

HowToTrip:So what kind of marketing plans do you have for this year?
Aiqi: First, in terms of brand promotion, it will definitely revolve around marathons. In addition, we will also participate in the “Challenge 8 Hours” event organized by the China Youth Development Foundation. We will also collaborate with One Foundation to do some charity-related activities.

HowToTrip:What about online?
Aiqi: Online, we are currently considering building our own independent mall, and may also look for a major internet company to become our strategic partner in the future. So far, we haven’t considered entering platforms like JD.com or Tmall.

HowToTrip:At last year’s Asia Outdoor Show in Nanjing, were there any best-selling products launched?
Aiqi: At the Nanjing show, we had a running watch that Li Tie wore, and this model has been selling extremely well. Everyone calls it the “Tie Zi Watch,” because Li Tie’s nickname is “Brother Tie Zi.”

HowToTrip:I know EZON has also made some good watches for high-altitude mountaineering?
Aiqi: This year in the mountaineering segment, we will maintain the same level of enthusiasm as before. Because over the past two years, we’ve mainly focused on mountaineering. But starting this year, we’re moving into the running category, though we won’t neglect mountaineering. We’ve also launched some new products for climbing, such as our first “analog” mountaineering watch. As of now, it’s relatively rare in the market. Under normal circumstances, its hour, minute, and second hands function like a regular watch, but when you press the button and activate the function key, the hour and minute hands switch to indicating altitude—one hand shows altitude in kilometers, the other in hundreds of meters, while the second hand indicates units below one hundred meters. There’s also a hand that shows temperature.

HowToTrip:Did you also launch a casual series of watches this year?
Aiqi: This year, we integrated our outdoor casual series into the running series, because we feel that running, in a way, also includes brisk walking. We will also launch a women’s line this year, because some people have said that EZON watches are all for guys—they have large dials and dark, cool colors. So we’ve designed some elements for women, such as smaller dials and more colorful options.

HowToTrip:What technologies are used in this year’s watches?
Aiqi: The first is called “single-chip microcontroller technology.” This technology is relatively stable—for example, military equipment like the national army, tanks, and airplanes mostly use single-chip microcontroller technology. Second, we will continue with our consistent style, using LCD dot matrix displays. For sensors, we also aim for low power consumption and highly stable performance. This year, we’ve also added a Bluetooth 4.0 module.

Green Field Network:How many times have you attended ISPO? What changes do you notice in ISPO this year?
Aiqi: This is our third year here. First of all, I’ve noticed many new faces, and of course, quite a few familiar ones are missing. I think all the companies that came gained something because this is a great opportunity to engage closely with your users. It allows brands to showcase their overall strength in a concentrated way — whether it’s brand promotion, product performance, or future plans, everything gets a focused display here.

Green Field Network:Have you made any changes to the booth design?
Aiqi: From the first year to the second and now to this year, the booth design style has become more open and more focused on user experience. Because our core strength is delivering ultimate experiences, and one of the key words is experience.
