After four days and three nights of fierce competition, the 9th Gobi Challenge for Business Schools (the “9th Gobi”) organized by the Xuanzang Road Organizing Committee has recently concluded successfully. The Dream Team of the Nanjing University EMBA Outdoor Association (abbreviated as the Nanjing University EMBA Team), sponsored by Austria’s NORTHLAND, achieved a 100% completion rate with no withdrawals during the 118-kilometer Gobi trekking challenge, and was awarded the “Shackleton Award,” which symbolizes team spirit.

The average altitude along the course is 1,500 meters, with daytime temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius and a temperature difference of 40 degrees between day and night. The area is extremely arid and water-scarce, posing considerable challenges for hiking enthusiasts.
