“You are my little apple, how can I not love you more?”
Did you think I was singing to my beloved?
No, I was singing to my favorite outdoor gear — the Risu outdoor windbreaker and hiking pants. You must think I’m crazy, but let me tell you, I’m perfectly fine. First, there’s no mental issue, and second, these two pieces of clothing have brought me immense benefits. How could I not sing about them?
So, one day we went rafting. The scorching sun was overhead, radiating heat so intensely that at one point I almost felt dizzy from the heat. Everyone around was wearing casual clothes — cotton tops and denim jeans. With the heat, their clothes started sticking to their bodies, and they looked over at me, calm and composed. Why? Because I was wearing a sun-protective shirt, had my hat on, and my hiking pants — which were originally long — had a zipper that turned them into shorts. The inner short-sleeved shirt was from Risu’s quick-dry series, so even when I sweated, it dried up instantly. One of the guys pouted at me, but I said nothing. Then he added, “When we go rafting, we’ll cool off.” Haha, just you wait. Finally, it was our turn. As luck would have it, I ended up in the same raft as the guy. He wanted to get a rise out of me, so he told me to go first while he stayed behind, waiting to see me make a fool of myself. But I wasn’t afraid — because I knew Risu’s professional outdoor gear uses high-quality imported fabrics that are waterproof and quick-drying. After going through the rapids, we were all soaked. I took off my sun-protective shirt, wrung out the water, shook it in the sun, and then put it back on right in front of the guy. He reached out to touch it, only to find it half-dry. Meanwhile, his own clothes, drenched in the rapids, clung tightly to his body and dripped with every step. He kept sighing in frustration. Hey, when it comes to outdoor adventures, it’s all about the gear. I had Risu, and I totally won.

Sometimes, the weather changes as quickly as a child’s mood. Just when we were feeling down from the heat, dark clouds suddenly rolled in. Then came the strong winds whipping up sand, the sky darkened, and in an instant it felt like the end of the world. The wind howled fiercely, and those poor guys truly got their wish for coolness — the combination of gale-force winds and their soaked clothes made them feel “chilled to the bone.” As they watched, I rolled up my pant legs — turning my shorts into long pants. Then came the downpour — raindrops pattering loudly. I zipped up my windbreaker, pulled the hood over my head, and sat under the pavilion catching raindrops, enjoying the coolness of the rainy day. Oh, and did I mention? Risu outdoor clothing is also windproof.
Just from that one experience, I fell in love with Risu outdoor gear. If that’s not my little apple, what is?
