At 10:00 a.m. on October 14, the launch ceremony of the first batch of 20 photogenic spots exploration and sign installation activity for "Discovering the Most Photogenic Scenic Spots in Gannan" was grandly held at the Yeliguan Scenic Area in Lintan County, Gannan Prefecture. The event was jointly hosted by the Gannan Prefecture Committee of the CPC, the People's Government of Gannan Prefecture, the Gannan "Tourism-Driven Development" Strategy Leading Group, and China National Geography Magazine. Shi Zhanliang, Vice Governor of Gannan Prefecture and Deputy Leader of the Gannan "Tourism-Driven Development" Strategy Leading Group, presided over the ceremony.

From October 14 to 17, experts from China National Geography, photographers, and media friends participating in the "Discovering the Most Photogenic Scenic Spots in Gannan" project will visit Gannan. They will conduct a four-day field study and inspection in some of the prefecture’s scenic areas, including Ye Hai, Dayugou, Labrang Monastery, Sangke Grassland, and the Dangzhou Grassland National Eco-Tourism Demonstration Zone, to better understand, interpret, and promote Gannan. The ultimate goal is to introduce the "Colorful Shambhala of Gannan" to the world.
