Shixiang Lake, a national 4A-level tourist attraction,is located in Pujiang County, Chengdu. It is named after the ancient Shixiang Temple by the lake. Pristine forests, natural slopes, gentle streams, tranquil waters, a thousand-year-old temple, and hundred-million-year-old tree ferns. All of these natural resources have endowed Shixiang Lake with its unique charm.

The Shixiang Lake scenic area features thousands of acres of pristine secondary forest, 800 acres of water surface, and millions of blooming flowers on Xiangshan Mountain, creating an ecological beauty where natural landscapes blend seamlessly with man-made scenery. In the early morning, the lake is shrouded in mist, filled with birdsong and floral fragrance; in the evening, the forest glows with layered green shadows and winding paths leading to serene spots — a pure land urban dwellers dream of for relaxation and spiritual renewal. The area’s abundant lake resources also foster a mild climate. The surrounding primeval pine forests, covering tens of thousands of acres, are lush and dense, releasing 30,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter, making it a true "natural oxygen bar."

Shixiang Lake is home to millions of Dutch tulips, with nearly fifty premium varieties spread across multiple flower zones. These specially cultivated lilies mostly bloom in April and are currently in the dyeing stage. Their crystal-clear, tightly closed buds are about to burst open, exuding an enticingly delicate charm.
