On May 23, the third Camel Outdoor Festival and the Tengger Desert Crossing Challenge kicked off in grand style. Upon learning that Hunan TV goddess Shen Mengchen would be making a personal appearance, thousands of outdoor enthusiasts eagerly submitted applications to participate. After a rigorous selection process by event organizer CAMEL Camel, nearly 60 seasoned adventurers were ultimately chosen to take part in this desert crossing challenge. By organizing this outdoor festival, we had participants plant a ‘Tree of Hope’ alongside goddess Shen Mengchen before setting off, then venture deep into the Tengger Desert for a three-day, two-night crossing challenge. Only by personally experiencing the harsh conditions of the desert can one truly appreciate the significance of planting that tree.”
The Tengger Desert crossing event was held in teams, with the leading group that successfully completed the crossing eligible to win electronic shopping vouchers worth tens of thousands of yuan at the Camel Outdoor flagship store. It has been reported that the Camel Outdoor Festival has officially concluded, and the ten participating teams have safely returned to Yinchuan after an unforgettable desert adventure.
