Ted Stimpson, CEO of LPG Group, said: “Cancún is one of the fastest-growing travel destinations in the world, with visitor numbers continually rising across the Yucatán Peninsula. This is our strategic first step into Latin America and also our first brand-new product in the Latin American market. We believe consumers will be interested in and purchase our comprehensive and all-inclusive city pass.”
The GoCancunCard can be purchased at www.gocancuncard.com. After receiving the pass via email, travelers can choose to print it at home or download the free Go City Card app. Pass holders will also receive a travel guide with detailed information on each attraction, including opening hours and maps, to help plan their itinerary.
Additionally, LPG Group has recently launched the Cancun Explorer Pass, designed for in-depth travelers. With this pass, visitors can choose to access a set number of attractions—such as 3, 4, 5, 7, or 10—within a 30-day period, selecting from 22 different experiences. The lowest price for the Cancun Explorer Pass is for 3 attractions: $130 per adult and $84 per child.
Formed by the merger of three leading specialized sightseeing product design companies—Smart Destinations (the parent company of Go City Card), UK-based LPG Group, and New York Pass—the combined LPG Group became the world’s largest provider of tourist attraction passes in March 2017. It currently offers over 30 city pass products across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.
