The 2016 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Congress, themed “Harmony Between Man and Nature · Distinguished Guests of Nature,” took place in the Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. Alongside the congress, the country’s first comprehensive mountain outdoor sports park — the Anlong National Mountain Outdoor Sports Demonstration Park — officially opened on September 24. To mark the occasion, the park hosted a tent forum themed “Noble Mountains, Noble Waters, Noble Outdoors: The Anlong Model of the National Mountain Outdoor Sports Demonstration Park,” and welcomed its first competitive event — the China Guizhou Anlong International Rock Climbing Elite Competition. Sports enthusiasts, local citizens, and elite climbers from around the world gathered to admire the breathtaking beauty of Anlong while experiencing the extraordinary allure of mountain outdoor sports.
