On the morning of October 21, 2016, the second China Camping Education Conference, themed "Hello camp!", opened as scheduled in Shunyi, Beijing. The conference was hosted by CCEA (China Camp Education Alliance), with the assistance of eleven member organizations (including: Beijing Sailing Center, Qixing Camping Education, Century Mingde, UWC World Union College, Vanke Education, Future Training Camp, New Oriental International Study Tours, Yitong Camping Education, Youka Creative Academy, Youmei Experience Camp, and Angels & Nutshells).

The China Camping Education Alliance aims to promote the sustainable development of China’s camping education industry through academic research, talent cultivation, and international exchange and cooperation. It provides industry research reports to governments and institutions, while also supporting the personal growth and development of Chinese youth through camping education.
This year, the conference offered a three-day professional training program for camping education practitioners. The training courses were provided and certified by the International Camping Fellowship (ICF), offering internationally standardized certification in areas such as Camp Director, Camp Activity Design, and Camp Counselor. It provided a broad platform for learning and exchange among those who love, work in, or are interested in the field of education.
In addition, the conference also held a public exhibition to offer information and support to help the general public learn about and choose suitable camps. The China Camping Education Alliance will continue to build platforms, focusing on talent development and the standardization process within the industry, promoting standardized practices, encouraging diversity and sustainable growth, and supporting the advancement of camping education with Chinese characteristics.
