On April 2nd, International Autism Awareness Day, and on the tenth anniversary of the occasion, HF (Hunyuan) joined forces with the children’s welfare organization "Silent Planet," the Dongcheng District Disabled Persons’ Federation of Beijing, the Beijing Sunshine Road Education Potential Development Center, the Urban Voice of China National Radio, and Meng Yao, host of the Life Channel of Beijing TV. Together, they brought the “children of the stars” to Shijia Elementary School, where the sixth-grade, eighth-class students of Shijia accompanied the autistic children in class. The aim was to help students understand children with autism from an early age through integrated interactions between neurotypical pupils and autistic children, fostering mutual respect, understanding, and care among students. It also laid the foundation for a more inclusive school environment for autistic children in the future.
Accompanied by volunteers and professional teachers, the students of Shijia Elementary School and the autistic children participated in a regular elementary school class, allowing the autistic children to try integrating into the classroom setting. After class, under the guidance of Shijia Elementary School teachers, they all took an oath together, sang the Young Pioneers' song, and the autistic children also joined the Young Pioneers of Shijia Elementary School. The students’ enthusiasm, love, and inclusiveness moved everyone present, as well as each child with autism, giving them a heartwarming lesson.

Autism, also known medically as autistic disorder, is a condition not yet widely known or understood by society. According to the latest statistics, one in every 68 newborns is diagnosed with autism. This rate has already surpassed the combined number of people with three major global diseases—AIDS, cancer, and diabetes—and continues to rise. Autism can only be improved in daily life functioning through education, guidance, and other means. Practice has shown that with early, correct, and persistent intervention, many autistic children are able to integrate into society and live independently. Therefore, may we offer them more care and sincerity to help them become part of our larger social family.
