When it comes to “smart wearables,” sports products dominate this field, especially as the domestic sports boom has surged forward in recent years, making smart wearables widely used across various types of sports. This renowned American GPS brand, with 14 years of history in smart wearables, not only leads the world in aviation navigation, marine electronics, surveying and mapping, in-car navigation, and sports and leisure, but was also committed to the development of wearable smart devices even before the concept of “smart wearables” became popular, gaining widespread acclaim in Europe and America. In recent years, Garmin’s deep cultivation in the domestic market has made more and more sports enthusiasts familiar with this top international brand and allowed them to experience Garmin’s smart wearable devices. What are the blockbuster smart wearables that Garmin is bringing to this Asian CES? Let’s uncover the mystery.

Golf Sports Watch Approach S60:

Garmin’s newly launched golf sports watch, the Approach S60, made its first appearance at this Asian CES. This product not only continues and enhances the powerful features and smart services of the series, but also boasts a mechanically inspired, understated luxury in its design, catering to the tastes of successful business professionals. The Approach S60 features a quick-release strap mechanism and comes equipped with detailed course maps of over 40,000 golf courses worldwide. It can automatically load the current course via GPS positioning and offers 3D distance calculation, accurately determining actual shot distances on uphill or downhill terrains, providing users with more professional assistance and data recording. The auto-swing function detects each of the user’s shots, calculating and automatically recording shot distances. When paired with the TruSwing™ golf swing analyzer, the Approach S60 can also capture detailed data for each swing. Through the Garmin Golf app, users can compete with friends around the world, access weekly leaderboards, and view rankings, scores, par, handicaps, and more.

Kids’ Smart Fitness Band vivofit jr:

To promote attention to children’s physical and mental health, Garmin has specially designed a fitness band for kids called vivofit jr. It offers services for parent-child interaction, boosts children’s motivation, monitors their health, and helps cultivate good lifestyle habits. Through related puzzle games, it can also develop children’s intelligence and broaden their knowledge. The band rewards children with coins and badges to foster a spirit of ambition. In terms of functionality, the vivofit jr is waterproof up to 50 meters and provides daily activity tracking, sleep quality monitoring, sedentary reminders, alarm clock functions, and more. Most impressively, this band offers up to one year of battery life, whereas most kids' bands on the market currently last only a few weeks.

VIRB360 Action Camera:

At this exhibition, Garmin unveiled its newly released action camera, the VIRB360. This action camera is equipped with two HD cameras and supports 5.7K ultra-high-definition audio recording technology, capable of shooting 360-degree 15-megapixel panoramic videos. It is waterproof, image-stabilized, and photo-capable, and compatible with VR. It supports voice command operation and provides customizable G-Metrix data overlays. Data such as speed, altitude, track, distance, heart rate, power, air pressure, and gravity can be superimposed onto videos. Users can edit exciting sports footage through the mobile app and share it instantly with friends.

Outdoor Sports Watch fenix5 Series:

Undoubtedly, the fenix5 series sports watches are among Garmin’s most anticipated products this year. This series introduces a quick-release strap mechanism for the first time and also designs different sizes for the same product for the first time. Specifically tailored for users with smaller wrists and female users, a model called the fenix5S was created. This product is not only compact and slim but also stylish, available in silver, white, and black versions, along with a sapphire glass derivative version. It offers pure white TPU straps and champagne gold camel leather straps, which can be paired with white, turquoise, or black silicone straps for versatile styling options to meet diverse aesthetic preferences. The fenix5 and fenix5S have also undergone comprehensive upgrades in detail, such as a larger screen size, higher resolution, and longer battery life — all without increasing the body size or thickness. Both new models adopt three satellite systems: GPS + GLONASS + COMPASS (Beidou). The fenix5X even comes with detailed built-in navigation maps, allowing users to search for nearby points of interest through the watch and automatically plan a retracing route based on preset target distances. Even in areas without mobile signal, the fenix5X can still guide you back to your starting point, helping you avoid getting lost.

Forerunner935 Triathlon Sports Watch:

As Garmin’s latest triathlon sports watch, the Forerunner935 continues the professional legacy of the series. If you’re a triathlon enthusiast, the Forerunner935 is undoubtedly your top choice. This product features a convenient quick-release strap mechanism — installing or removing the strap takes just seconds and requires no tools. In terms of weight, the Forerunner935 is just 49 grams, so its lightweight build won’t be an unnecessary burden during competitions. Additionally, the Forerunner935 offers optical heart rate monitoring technology, supports one-touch quick switching for triathlon modes, and allows for custom multi-sport configurations. It is compatible with accessories such as radar, bike lights, power meters, and head-mounted displays, and expands sport modes for triathletes to include skiing, mountaineering, skiing, and golf.
