On April 1, 2018, the inauguration ceremony for the Pennine Cycling Club's move into the Zhixingjia Outdoor Base located at the Grand Canal Cultural Square in Tongzhou, jointly organized by Zhixingjia Travel Agency and the Pennine Cycling Club, was officially launched. This also marked the commencement of the Starry Camp · First Grand Canal Outdoor Leisure Festival. Attendees included relevant leaders from the Tongzhou Sports Bureau, key personnel from Zhixingjia and the Pennine Club, as well as all sponsors of the outdoor leisure festival.
Finally, Mr. Jiangnan, CEO of Zhixingjia Travel Agency, delivered a keynote speech titled "Carrying Outdoor Activities to the Fullest." He stated that under the new development trends in sports, the most important vision behind Zhixingjia Travel Agency’s efforts to establish the Tongzhou Grand Canal Outdoor Base is to make outdoor sports more accessible, allowing everyone to experience the vigorous growth of the outdoor industry. In addition, Zhixingjia plans to build more themed outdoor bases in the future, such as rock climbing bases and kayaking bases.
The Zhixingjia Outdoor Base welcomed the Pennine Cycling Club’s move in early April, marking the full launch of the Starry Camp · First Grand Canal Outdoor Leisure Festival. This leisure festival will be held from April 29 to May 1, 2018, spanning three days. It includes a 500-person running event, outdoor-themed sports experience competitions, musical performances, an outdoor film and photography season, and outdoor brand exhibitions, among other activities—a large-scale, comprehensive outdoor carnival integrating sports, culture, and leisure.
In 2018, the Zhixingjia Outdoor Base champions the concept of “New Beijing, New Canal,” building a standardized outdoor leisure and entertainment ecosystem along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, leaving a significant mark for Zhixingjia Travel Agency in the development of China’s outdoor industry.
