Autumn outdoor sports not only bring people joy but also help relax the tired body and allow one to enjoy the beauty of nature. However, such activities can be physically demanding, so the following precautions should be noted.
1. Before setting off, understand the locations you will pass through, your physical condition, and the prevailing weather conditions.
2. It’s best to go with companions—preferably at least three people—who can help each other along the way. Don’t carry too much luggage, but prepare some common medications.
3. If heading to a place with higher temperatures, it’s advisable to wear a sun hat and carry sufficient drinking water.
4. Choose appropriate sports shoes. Hiking is very energy-consuming, so wearing comfortable shoes is essential to reduce fatigue.
5. Maintain a balanced walking pace while hiking—it’s best to alternate between slow and fast, and take proper rest when feeling physically exhausted.
6. When hiking uphill, lean your body slightly forward. On steep slopes, use a zigzag route. When going downhill, lean your body slightly backward to relax the leg muscles and prevent soreness in the waist and legs.
