On July 31, the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics was finally awarded to Beijing-Zhangjiakou as hoped. Before the announcement, to express support and enthusiasm for the Winter Olympics, from July 29 to 31, the “Yes Sports Club” formed by sports and entertainment celebrities launched an intercity relay run from Beijing to Chongli in Zhangjiakou—“Chase Your Dreams Together · Intercity Relay Run,” which also came to a successful conclusion.

The entire event spanned nearly 300 kilometers without interruption. Runners officially set off from Beijing Olympic Forest Park at 8:00 PM on July 29, with the finish line located at the “Taiwu Ski Resort Town” in Chongli, Zhangjiakou, where venues for the upcoming Winter Olympics are under construction. Preliminary estimates suggest the relay run took over 48 hours in total, during which participants had to endure long uphill sections, hot daytime temperatures, complex nighttime road conditions, and other natural challenges, as well as organizational and logistical hurdles associated with multi-person relays. The difficulty level of completing the event was extremely high. When the activity reached Zhangjiakou town, a sudden heavy rainstorm occurred, yet the participating celebrities overcame numerous obstacles and brilliantly completed the challenge.
