1.Popular ramen—IppudoRamen(Taste8.8 Atmosphere8.6 Service: 8.5)

This is the second Ippudo branch in Hong Kong and is said to be one of the largest Ippudo outlets in the world. It’s extremely popular. The shop retains Ippudo’s signature features—the “ramen culture” where “you can enjoy ramen alone” and “focus on eating your noodles”—along with its unique cubicle design that offers great privacy, making it a haven for solo diners. In addition to the signature Ippudo ramen, don’t miss the half-boiled salted egg and the limited-edition tofu dessert.

2. HoneycombEgg Rolls—RoyalPastry(Taste: 9.3   Atmosphere: 9.2   Service: 9.3)        Royal Pastry is helmed by the former Chief Pastry Chef of the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, who is the father of the egg custard mooncake. Last year, their debut honey sesame mooncakes and upgraded egg custard mooncakes sold out quickly. This year, they’ve teamed up with their only apprentice, two-Michelin-starred pastry chef Lai Wing Koon, whose craftsmanship and innovative spirit shine through. Beyond mooncakes, their egg roll series is also a hit. Made using traditional methods, the egg rolls retain their original flakiness and rich texture, with visible honeycomb effects. In addition to the classic original and salted egg yolk flavors, there are also many creative flavors (Earl Grey tea, rock salt chocolate, coffee egg rolls, etc.) that are very popular.        Address: G/F, 43 Granville Road, Tsim Sha Tsui (MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit B2)3. 3Servicedessert shop—LE BREAD LAB(taste7.7 ambience8.6 service8.3)

Le Bread Lab is a super kawaii cake shop in Korea that offers cute items like mini cake rolls and cupcakes. The packaging features pink boxes with black text — adorable and simple. Their strawberry cake roll is the signature product. It’s unlikely we’d travel to Korea just for a snack, but you can try it when you’re in Hong Kong.

4.Michelin StreetSnacks—MommyEgg Waffles(Flavors8.9  Ambience7.9  Service8.4)

Egg waffles are a visually appealing and easy-to-hold street snack — you’ll see nine out of ten people walking down the street holding one. Both locals and tourists are drawn in by their aroma. Mommy Egg Waffles is a vendor featured in the Hong Kong Michelin Street Food Guide. Their egg waffles are popular for their thin, crispy crusts and generous ingredients. They’ve even launched Hong Kong’s first egg waffle-themed café. The café offers a variety of flavored egg waffles, including popular choices like cheese, purple sweet potato, and matcha, as well as ice cream toppings. Most importantly, they don’t skimp on quality ingredients — for example, using only Japanese matcha powder and pork floss from Lo Kam Kee.
