Ms. Du Jiajia delivered the opening welcome speech and reflected on the successful conclusion of the 8th AIC RV Show in June. “This year, we had 200 exhibiting brands and welcomed 24,008 visitors, setting a new record for exhibition scale. This achievement was not only due to the industry's robust growth but also thanks to the strong support of exhibitors, partners, and media over the years. At the end of the year, we specially held this appreciation event to engage in constructive dialogue with everyone, aiming for even greater success next year.”

She then shared exciting insights about AIC’s new plans and highlights for 2020. According to the announcement, AIC 2020 will continue to be held at the Beijing Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center from June 12–14, 2020. As a dynamic exhibition project, AIC strives for innovation and breakthroughs every year, focusing on serving exhibitors and attendees with a pragmatic and efficient approach. Next year’s exhibition area will expand to 39,000 square meters, providing a larger platform for exhibitors.
In terms of exhibition zones, two new sections will be added next year. The “Outdoor Products Zone” is designed specifically for outdoor gear and equipment manufacturers. With a distinctive theme and compact layout, visitors can find all RV vacation-related outdoor products in one place, from tents to camping furniture/equipment, air mattresses, sleeping bags, and more.
Another new zone is the “Campground Zone.” As RV travel becomes increasingly popular, the demand for both the quantity and quality of campgrounds is growing. This zone aims to provide travelers with the latest and most comprehensive travel guide, offering first-hand information and practical insights about Chinese campgrounds while actively promoting camping culture among the general public.

For concurrent events, B2B activities will intensify the “Buyer Program” to help exhibitors invite more professional buyers. Organizers will also further strengthen their traditional strength in “International Exchange,” leveraging the resources and background of Messe Düsseldorf Group to invite more experts from developed RV industries in Europe and America to engage in exchanges with their Chinese counterparts. Other regular features, such as RV technology courses, accessory pop-up stores, AIC INNOVATION, and AIC AWARDS, will also continue.
For C-end (consumer-facing) activities, the newly launched “Dream Journey” and “Newbies’ World” from the previous edition were hugely successful. Based on their popularity and positive market response, they will return in 2020. RV experts will offer professional advice on-site, sharing practical tips on RV camping to help newcomers and veterans alike gain the latest knowledge and deeper understanding of RV travel. The outdoor “Automotive Culture Zone” is a brand-new addition next year, designed to create an entertaining space for visitors to explore, experience, and learn about car culture. Additionally, the fun-filled “Family Club” will continue, ensuring young attendees have a memorable time.
Notably, the “AIC SCHOOL” project, initiated by AIC to promote RV camping knowledge among the public, will continue its nationwide rollout in 2020.In 2019, AIC SCHOOL held two training sessions in Shanghai during spring and autumn, which were very well received. Participants praised the sessions for teaching them valuable knowledge on RV driving, rental, and route planning. Next year, AIC will collaborate closely with professional RV travel operators and well-known RV travel influencers to bring AIC SCHOOL to more regions, enabling more people interested in RV camping to join this practical learning platform.
Ms. Du’s presentation sparked widespread attention and discussion, with attendees expressing great enthusiasm for the 2020 exhibition plans.

The event then moved into a grand award ceremony. The AIC organizers prepared surprise gifts and certificates of recognition for media friends who have been tirelessly promoting RV camping culture on the front lines, thanking them for their contributions to the growth of the RVcamping industryand their strong support for AIC. Lvye was honored with the “2019 AIC Best Outdoor Cooperation Media” award, Autohome received the “2019 AIC Best Automotive Cooperation Media” award, and other media were recognized as “2019 AIC Best Industry Media.”

All media outlets received specially made “AIC Press Passes,” which grant holders various privileges at AIC exhibitions.
