The global leader in car rental, AVIS, introduced a new Avis Preferred (Overseas Premium Program) membership service in early June, offering members enhanced convenience.
Starting this summer, Avis Preferred members will gain access to three new benefits:
(1) Pre-reserving rental vehicles in advance;
(2) Swapping rental vehicles within a designated vehicle group at pick-up without any fees or the need to return to the counter;
(3) Upgrading to a Cool Car or SUV within a specified range, with only a partial surcharge applied.
Avis Preferred members no longer need to visit an AVIS counter to complete these services—everything can be handled quickly and conveniently.

By the end of 2012, Chinese Avis Preferred members traveling to the U.S. and Canada can enjoy the ‘pick-up-and-go’ service at 50 AVIS airport locations.
