China Climbing Expedition Route Development Team
Recently, following their first stop in Yangshuo, members of the China Climbing Expedition route development team have arrived in Leye to begin a new journey of discovering and developing climbing routes. As is well known, Leye, situated in the vast karst mountainous region of western China, is world-famous as the "Tiankeng Capital." The area features stunning and rugged scenery, abundant with outdoor sports resources such as cliffs and mountains, particularly the Leye Tiankeng Cluster, which is truly one of a kind. It is reported that the second leg of the China Climbing Expedition in Leye will run from July 1 to 15. In Leye, they will take on the challenge of the tiankengs. Currently, the activities of the “KAILAS China Climbing Expedition” route development team have fully commenced across the major cliffs in Leye.

Starting from June 20, from Yangshuo to Leye, from Huashan to Quzhou, from Yingxi to various spots around the country, the KAILAS China Climbing Expedition route development team and other climbers will uncover lesser-known yet high-quality cliff resources while developing more exciting routes. This aims to attract more climbing enthusiasts to share the joy of climbing. This summer, KAILAS invites you to join our climbing team on a journey to discover climbing opportunities across China’s 9.6 million square kilometers.
