The New Taipei City Government Agriculture Bureau will host a free outdoor observation and experience event from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on March 26 at the Paotzu? Tea Mountain Ancient Trail in Shenkeng District. The event invites Wu Yuntian, chairman of the Taipei Go Outdoors Outdoor Life Sharing Association, to lead participants on a small outdoor adventure. The Agriculture Bureau noted that when people think of Shenkeng, they often associate it with the old street and stinky tofu, but in the past, Shenkeng was once a distribution hub for tea sales, surrounded by lush green tea buds and breathtaking layers of greenery.
The Agriculture Bureau also mentioned that the “Ecological Experts’ Salon Series, Ocean Themed” will kick off in April, with “Deep Sea Dining? Sustainable Seafood” on April 2 and “Ocean Voyager? Sea Turtles” on May 21, both to be held at the New Taipei City Government Conference Room.
On June 18, an outdoor special session will take place at the Gongliao District Marine Resource Breeding Park and Maao Fishing Port, featuring “Marine Journey: How Much Do You Know About Marine Life Restoration?” and other engaging ecological lectures.
