The most beautiful highlight of autumn is the red foliage. The mountains in Taiwan have gradually turned fiery red since early November. Scenic spots like Fushoushan Farm, a renowned maple-viewing destination, already look like a painting. Besides famous spots such as Fushoushan and Alishan, there are also many hidden gems known only to locals. For example, the Facebook page "Strolling in the Clouds of Alishan" shared the breathtaking beauty of Maple Valley along the Central Cross-Island Highway.
I accidentally left this photo of “Chunmei’s” in my computer folder for nearly a month now — just in time to post it now that the nights are getting colder (I’ll say it myself XD). To be honest, the moment I saw it on Instagram, I was deeply charmed by its cute, hipster storefront.

Just one stop apart, the two stations connected by the elevated MRT present entirely contrasting appearances. Unlike other shops, they also sell beverages, coffee, juices, pancakes, and even milkshakes — a rarity elsewhere — with a variety of unique flavors as well!

I happened to have some business near Songshan Airport recently and wanted to meet up with friends for a chat. I was looking for a simple place to eat where we could sit for a while, so after doing some searching, I found this place called “Mr. Egg Pancake Bai Mu” which seemed pretty good. It operates in a breakfast-style format, with its main offering being crispy egg pancakes, and it’s quite popular among many people!
This is the world’s last frontier, the last untouched landmass, and a place that must not be spoiled—the Antarctic continent. With an ice sheet averaging two thousand meters in thickness, Antarctica has no borders, no pollution, and no hostility. It is an otherworldly paradise, the last remaining pure land on Earth; yet it is also the coldest, stormiest, windiest, and driest region in the world, cloaking this wonderland in breathtaking sheets of silver-white glass and shrouding it in an air of mystery. Thus, it stirs the spirit of adventure and curiosity in travelers, inspiring them to set foot on Antarctica and stand amid the vast ice caps, ice shelves, icebergs, and towering mountain ranges, to feel the immense power and wonder of nature.
Deserts, rainforests, glaciers, highland lakes… South America is a very distant place from Taiwan. In that faraway land, you’ll find diverse natural landscapes as well as mysterious ancient civilizations and many age-old legends, rich in both natural beauty and cultural heritage. For example, the ancient city of Machu Picchu is like an aerial city atop the Andes Mountains, with its lost myths echoing in everyone’s heart; the Iguazu Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil, with its 275 thundering cascades of all sizes, resembles a mighty wall of water, forged by thousands of falls, awe-inspiring and majestic!
Netizen Cai Yuequn shared the beauty of eastern Taiwan in “Traveling Is Super Fun!” featuring two major golden needle flower regions: the Golden Needle Flower Seas of Liushishi Mountain and Chike Mountain, as well as the most magnificent Qingshui Cliffs, with colorful kayaks gently swaying on the crystal-clear sea.
September 28th is a special day dedicated to teachers. To show appreciation for their hard work, Lihpao Land Resort has launched an exclusive “Military & Teachers Month” event. As long as you're a teacher or member of the military and present valid ID when purchasing your ticket, you can get entry to one of the two parks for just 100 yuan, allowing educators to fully enjoy the amusement park and unwind completely.
After a 14-year hiatus, the first batch of Japanese beef exported to Taiwan from Japan comes from Miyazaki Prefecture’s Miyazaki beef, expected to arrive in Taiwan on September 28. Other batches of wagyu will also be imported successively. Foodies need not worry about missing out—five hotel and restaurant operators have already launched Japanese-imported wagyu recently, with availability starting around late September to early October.
What kind of crabs do you like to eat? Whether it’s hairy crabs, king crabs, or Wanli crabs — up to 80% of all crabs caught in Taiwan are landed in Wanli. However, most people aren’t necessarily familiar with the types of crabs found in Taiwan’s coastal waters or their fishing grounds. That’s why in 2012, the New Taipei City Government designated the three most commonly caught crab species in the Wanli area — stone crabs, flower crabs, and three-spot crabs — as "Wanli Crabs," launching the Wanli Crab brand to promote the consumption of seafood caught in Taiwan.
Beef lovers who enjoy the taste of Japanese wagyu have something to celebrate. After a 14-year hiatus, the first shipment of Japanese beef exported to Taiwan is from Miyazaki Prefecture—Miyazaki beef—and is expected to arrive in Taiwan on September 28. This batch of Miyazaki beef is being imported by Cheers Group, aiming to deliver it to customers as quickly as possible, whether through its own restaurants or its B2B retail business, Cheers Foods.
