"Poispois" means little dots in French, and its pronunciation is similar to the Chinese word for bubble. Inspired by this, the hotel is filled with circular shapes and bubble elements throughout its interior. There are 36 bubble rooms, 3 deluxe rooms, a dreamy Bubblegum Restaurant, and a luxurious bar. The best part is the sky garden on the 10th floor, which offers a close-up view of the Taipei 101 nighttime skyline.

The hotel is full of thoughtful details—for example, the restaurant’s pale pink fluorescent walls are designed based on the way bubbles refract light. Take a closer look at the inward-spiraling ceiling design in each bubble room; when hit by spotlights, it looks like it’s floating in midair, as if it could suck away all your fatigue and worries. The semi-spherical transparent bubble chairs are also super cute, and the prices are more affordable than you’d think—you can stay for around NT$3,000. The deluxe rooms feature spacious layouts and comfortable bathtubs, with three themes: Palette, Oasis, and Rose.

The reception lobby of Hotelpoispois is located on the 10th floor. Before checking in, you must first take a dreamy elevator space created by a German artist to ascend. Once you reach the rooftop sky garden, you can enjoy a 270-degree panoramic view of beautiful Taipei. The garden features the Spun Chair, designed by the famous London architect, whose unique design ensures you won’t tip over no matter how you lie—guests have a blast playing on it.
