Bao'an Temple

Bao'an Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Bao'an Temple, also known as Niangniang Temple, is located in Tieyingzi Village, 2.5 kilometers due north of the seat of Talagao Township. According to the 19th-year (1930) edition of the *Chaoyang County Annals* from the Republican era: “Bao'an Temple was built during the Qianlong and Jiaqing reigns of the Qing Dynasty. The temple complex originally consisted of a main hall with three bays, housing statues of the Three Maidens. The east and west corridors each had three bays, used for hosting opera performances during the annual temple fair, as well as lodging for fair organizers.” The temple measures 100 meters from north to south and 60 meters from east to west, covering a total area of 6,000 square meters. The annual temple fair is held on the eighth day of the third lunar month. By the fifth year of the Xianfeng era (1855 AD), the temple had suffered years of damage from wind and rain and was subsequently renovated again.
