Location: Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province.

Introduction: The Chaoyang Bird Fossil Geological Park is made up of the Beipiao Sihetun Fossil Area, Fenghuang Mountain Geological Landscape Area, Lingyuan Dawangzhangzi Paleontological Fossil Area, Shangheshou Paleontological Area, and Huai Shu Cave Scenic Area, with a total of 207 square kilometers of main geological heritage. The central Shangheshou area, with a planned total area of 70 hectares, serves as the main monument zone of the Chaoyang Bird Fossil National Geological Park. The unique stratigraphic and geomorphological features have endowed Chaoyang with an exceptionally rich fossil resource, earning it the reputation as the “World Treasury of Paleontological Fossils.” In addition, the park houses a museum covering over 10,000 square meters, equipped with various multimedia facilities including sound, light, and interactive displays, making it an educational hub for young people to explore the mysteries of the universe, learn about earth sciences, and enhance their awareness of environmental protection.
