Tiegouli Scenic Area

Tiegouli Scenic Area is located within Yangjiaogou Town, Kazuo County. The gully stretches over 30 Chinese miles in total and serves as a gateway to the Tianlongyuan Scenic Area and the Louzishan Nature Reserve.

The continuous mountain ranges on both sides of the valley resemble two giant dragons lying along the gully. Though not known for towering peaks or massive mountains, the area boasts numerous unique peaks and peculiar rocks—such as Yuanbao Mountain, which resembles a silver ingot, Mother and Child Mountain depicting maternal affection, and Turtle Back Mountain that seems to be looking up to the sky—all of which inspire a sense of wonder. The valley walls on both sides feature exposed rocks, steep cliffs, and knife-edge ridges that form a naturally formed "one-line sky," creating a breathtaking and awe-inspiring sight. Tiegouli is not only diverse in landforms but also rich in lush vegetation. A hundred acres of wild hazelnut forests grow on the only gentle slope in the valley, while apricot trees bloom with flowers in spring and turn fiery red in autumn, scattered across the mountains. Visiting this place feels like stepping into a fairyland painting gallery, filling the heart with indescribable joy.

The landscapes of Tiegouli seem as if chiseled by supernatural forces, combining exquisite craftsmanship with a sense of mystery and seclusion. Each feature is uniquely shaped yet complements the others beautifully. Yangjiaogou Town: 1. Geographic Location: Yangjiaogou Township is located approximately 26 kilometers east of Dachengzi Town, the seat of Kazuo County, between 119°51′ and 120°13′ east longitude, and 40°94′ and 41°14′ north latitude.
