Soviet Red Army Martyrs' Cemetery

The Soviet Red Army Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism site.

The memorial tower stands 16.25 meters tall, with an octagonal body topped by a golden star. Its front is inscribed in Russian with the words: “Eternal glory to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the honor and victory of the Soviet Union in battle.”

The inscription on the martyrs’ cemetery monument reads: “Here lie the heroes who fell in the fight against Japanese imperialism, your deeds will never be forgotten by the motherland.” The Soviet Red Army Martyrs' Park is located between First Street and Second Street in the eastern part of the city’s northern district, covering an area of 2 hectares. It was established to commemorate the Soviet Red Army soldiers who died in the 1945 Manzhouli Liberation Campaign, and includes the Red Army Martyrs' Memorial Tower and the Martyrs' Cemetery.
