These involve 15 specific tasks, including improving comprehensive border tourism service facilities and establishing a tourism co-construction and sharing model.

The Blue Bay Remediation Action project in Fangchenggang has a total investment of 4.887 billion yuan and plans to carry out three-dimensional comprehensive remediation of the Xiwang shoreline, sea areas, islands, coastal zones, and inflowing rivers over a period of three and a half years.
The entire action includes 11 types of projects: seabed dredging, island and reef construction, eco-conservation development, shoreline remediation, dike construction and road building, river channel clearing, soil and water conservation, vegetation greening, village remediation, water source protection, and sewage treatment. Among these, six projects are supported by central government funds, with a total investment of 823.14 million yuan—including 300 million yuan in central support funds, 157 million yuan in local fiscal funds, and 365 million yuan from enterprises or social sources. Currently, 262 million yuan in central government budget funds have been allocated to our city.

On the evening of November 30, 2017, Liuzhou Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (601003) announced: Liuzhou Iron & Steel is implementing a reduced-capacity relocation to coastal port areas to build a high-end steel base along Guangxi’s coast. On December 18, 2017,the Liuzhou Iron & Steel Fangchenggang Steel Base project commenced construction.This marks not only significant progress for Liuzhou Iron & Steel, but also for Fangchenggang and the entire Beibu Gulf economy.
With the commencement of the Fangchenggang–Dongxing railway project, the China–Vietnam fast railway section from Fangchenggang to Dongxing—starting from the northern end of the Fangchenggang Station on the Nanning–Fangchenggang Railway, connecting to the existing line and heading south, then crossing Dongxing Avenue, Yongjun Road, Beibu Gulf Avenue, and Xiwang Bay before turning west toward the planned Jiangshan Peninsula Station and on to Dongxing—will directly benefit over 700,000 people along the route.
