Ying Stone Garden is the largest theme park in China dedicated to Ying stones. It integrates stone displays, sightseeing, trading, and commercial-residential functions, and is divided into five main sections: the Ying Stone Ancient Architecture Street, Large-scale Ying Stone Exhibition Area, Ying Stone Museum, Property-style Mini Stone Houses, and Ying Stone Landscaping Experience Field.

Inside and outside the China Ying Stone Garden scenic area, large and small uniquely shaped stones stand densely. Each one is simple and weathered, vividly lifelike, and comes in a thousand different forms. When paired in twos or threes, they form picturesque scenes that are a feast for the eyes. From the Ying stone “Flying Dragon in the Sky,” a folk national treasure from Yingde valued at several million yuan, to garden Ying stones weighing over a thousand tons, the China Ying Stone Garden presents to visitors a magical world of Ying stones. It allows you to fully experience the long history and profound cultural essence of Ying stone culture.

Yingde is a place renowned for producing Ying stones. As early as the Song Dynasty, the stones were developed and utilized, and listed as imperial tributes. In the Yuan Dynasty, they were included among the “Four Scholars’ Playthings.” By the Qing Dynasty, Ying stones were ranked alongside Taihu stones, Lingbi stones, and yellow wax stones, and were recognized as one of the four most famous stones in China. The natural characteristics of Ying stones — “slender, wrinkled, porous, and translucent” — give them extremely high ornamental and collectible value, making them highly favored by literati and scholars. Today, Yingde has become the largest distribution center in southern China for garden landscape stones, with Ying stones at the forefront.
