Zhaotian Ecological Park

The ecological park is located in Xinma Village at the intersection of the Qing-Fo First-Class Highway and the Old Qing-Fo Highway in Yuantan Town, Qingcheng District. It was jointly invested in and established by Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Canadian Huafeng Enterprise Company. Sun Yat-sen University is responsible for the overall planning, design, strategy, and scientific research of the industrial park, while the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences provides technical guidance. Huafeng Enterprise Company is responsible for introducing funding and developing tourism operations, and Mr. Chen Xuewu oversees the implementation of all measures within the industrial park. The park grows high-quality Shixia longan and Taiwanese green-skinned pomelos. It also features a flower cultivation base, a fishing and leisure center, and other supporting facilities. The orchard has reached a considerable scale, allowing visitors to either take a vehicle ride uphill to enjoy the pastoral scenery or sample seasonal fruits.
