Xuanzhen Field Combat Club is located within the Xuanzhen Ancient Cave Scenic Area, covering an area of nearly 20,000 square meters. It’s a paradise for field combat enthusiasts and officially opened to the public on August 1st, 2004, during the Army Day celebrations. The club features professional instructors, high-quality services, and uses the latest 99-style paintball guns along with new bulletproof helmets. The field combat venues, created within the mountainous and densely forested areas, simulate jungle special operations and include various zones such as the Highland Capture Zone, Pine Forest Ambush Zone, and Dense Forest Guerrilla Search Zone.

The Xuanzhen Field Combat reality show currently has three major battlefields and a live-fire shooting range, utilizing two types of guns: the 5R heavy submachine gun (modeled after the Flying Tigers' firearms) and the 11S submachine gun (modeled after special police firearms). Professional instructors are provided, along with essentials such as bullets, bulletproof helmets, towels, camouflage combat uniforms, and military boots. Set in the mountainous and densely forested areas, the combat zones simulate jungle special operations and include various areas such as the Highland Capture Zone, Pine Forest Ambush Zone, and Dense Forest Guerrilla Search Zone.

Game Rules:

Participating players are divided into two teams, enemies and allies, wearing different colored clothing for the confrontation. When a player is hit, the impact point shows a "bloody" mark. A hit to the head, chest, or two hits to the lower abdomen results in elimination from the battlefield. Hits to the limbs are considered minor injuries. If a limb is hit twice and the hand can no longer hold the gun or the leg cannot support the body, the player may continue fighting until they are "eliminated" or the game ends. Paintball offers many gameplay formats depending on players’ preferences. But one golden rule remains: try your best not to get hit while aiming to take down your opponents.

Protective Equipment: Although paintballs burst upon hitting the body and do not cause any actual harm, the eyes are one of the most vulnerable parts of the human body. To ensure safety, all participants must wear approved bulletproof helmets. These helmets effectively protect the eyes, temples, face, and ears from paintball impacts. Once inside the combat zone, helmets must not be removed under any circumstances. Paintballs are transparent capsules filled with food-grade pigments—non-toxic, non-corrosive, water-soluble, and made from biodegradable vegetable dyes.

The M4 paintball gun is the latest equipment from the United States, with both appearance and weight accurately replicated at a 1:1 ratio. The most distinctive feature of this gun is that it can fire single shots when the safety is off, or in rapid mode when switched to the other setting. This is the first facility in China to offer this type of equipment.

Field Combat Gameplay: The gameplay is diverse, including annihilation battles aimed at wiping out the opposing team, encounter battles where opponents meet head-on, speed-focused flag capture games, one-on-one duels, as well as offense-defense battles, ambushes, protecting VIPs, and limited-ammo scenarios.

Protective Equipment for Participants:

1. Protective Clothing: Includes camouflage uniforms, towels, shoes, and socks.

2. Protective Helmets: Primarily protect the eyes, face, and temples. How is the outcome determined?

It depends on the gameplay mode. The most popular format is "hit means out," where any part of the body being hit signifies that the participant is eliminated. Another mode is POWER, where players agree on the rules before starting—the one with fewer hits wins, and the one with more hits loses.
