Last updated 2026-09-25 — I hadn’t known what to eat recently, but then heard from Sister Xiong that there’s a not-bad European-Mediterranean restaurant on Songren Road, just across from the Le Méridien Hotel. The best part? The owner is Turkish. So I picked a day to come try it out. To my surprise, the space here is really nice, the menu has quite a variety, and although it lacks a bit of uniqueness, the ingredients are solid and the flavors are good.

I hadn’t known what to eat recently, but then heard from Sister Xiong that there’s a not-bad European-Mediterranean restaurant on Songren Road, just across from the Le Méridien Hotel. The best part? The owner is Turkish. So I picked a day to come try it out. To my surprise, the space here is really nice, the menu has quite a variety, and although it lacks a bit of uniqueness, the ingredients are solid and the flavors are good.

Actually, Mi’er was quite curious why the Turkish owner doesn’t serve Turkish food. Turns out the tall, handsome owner said he feels Turkish cuisine isn’t very popular in Taiwan, so the only Turkish dish on the menu is the Turkish rice pudding dessert. The rest of the dishes are created by Chef Sami Alican Saygi from France, focusing on natural, healthy, and refreshing elements — which is why it’s quite popular with female diners. The menu is rich, featuring Western-style energy breakfasts, fresh salads, authentic pasta, thin-crust pizzas, European and Mediterranean-style meat dishes, and signature desserts. For those who enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, it’s a great place to dine.

Brunch is available on weekends, there’s also afternoon tea in the afternoon, and at night it transforms into a small bar — it’s quite multifunctional. The environment is comfortable and peaceful, truly giving off that vibe of finding tranquility in the midst of bustle.

That day I only had water, but this is my friend’s iced coffee, made with LAVAZZA beans — apparently it’s pretty good~

Salmon avocado tart, 290 NTD. The presentation is quite nice, the fish is very fresh, paired nicely with the rich avocado and crisp vegetables.

Scallop asparagus risotto, 590 NTD. The risotto is on the softer, moister side, the scallops are well-seared, balanced with balsamic vinegar to cut through the buttery flavor.

Classic Parisian steak, 910 NTD. Said to be a historic dish, the sauce is its soul. The chef uses butter as a base and blends nearly twenty different spices, herbs, and seasonings. It comes with Australian beef tenderloin. I’m not a huge fan of this kind of beef, but the mashed potatoes are delicious~

New flavor wild mushroom pizza — the crust is thin, crispy, and fragrant, the tomato sauce has a well-balanced tangy saltiness, the whole combination is great. It’s my favorite dish~

Turkish rice pudding, 190 NTD. Rice pudding is a classic traditional Turkish dessert, with rice mixed with milk and cream, topped with a golden-brown crust. The milky aroma is rich and captivating — even better when served warm.

The dining space is divided into many sections. This long table is perfect for group meals~ really nice~
