Taiping Village Ancestral Hall is located in Dawei Village, Longbei Village Committee, Longjing Town, Qingxin County, Qingyuan City. Ten different surnames coexist in one village, where villagers live together like one big family, caring for and supporting one another in harmony for over 200 years, earning admiration and praise from surrounding communities. The entire village consists of ten surnames: Li, Chen, Wu, Lai, Liao, Huang, Deng, Zhao, Zhang, and Liang. They jointly built an ancestral hall called Taiping Village Ancestral Hall, commonly known as the “Ten Surnames Ancestral Hall.” A couplet on both sides of the main hall reads: “Though of different surnames, we are brothers, tracing back to the day we settled here, building a stronghold together and forming a strong community; our ancestors rest in peace here, gathered without distinction of host or guest, as one united family.” Each year, villagers of all ten surnames worship together in this ancestral hall, becoming sworn brothers across surnames. The village has a total of 213 farming households and a population of 1,380. Today, the villagers live in peace and prosperity, with their lives steadily improving, making it a model for local civilized village development.

Longbei Village: Longbei Village Committee is adjacent to Longjing Town. The village has a total of 1,225 households and 4,752 residents, with 78 poor households (141 people) earning an annual per capita income below 1,500 yuan. The main agricultural crop is rice. In 2014, the village collective income was 31,479 yuan, mainly from timber harvest funds, mountain land rentals, shop rentals, and factory rentals. In 2014, there were 64 births, a birth rate of 12.74‰, a family planning compliance rate of 89.06%, and a natural growth rate of 5.77‰.
