Liugong Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Shaoguan Liugong International Tourism Resort is a two-hour drive from Guangzhou and a three-hour drive from Shenzhen. Located in Ruyuan, China—the renowned homeland of the Yaos, a cross-border ethnic group—it enjoys a prime location, with the Ruyuan exit of the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and the Shaoguan Station of the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway just minutes away. Developed with an investment of 500 million yuan by Hong Kong Jiangyu Enterprise Group Limited, it is a five-star standard hotel and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction covering nearly 1,000 acres. Managed and operated by Guangdong Liugong Hotel Management Group Co., Ltd., the first phase of the hotel and hot spring project opened for business in January 2010.
