Yunmen Mountain Tourism Resort features the distinctive themes of "Guoshanyao Folk Culture" and "Yunmen Zen Buddhism Culture," and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The new project, Cloud Waterfall, offers a rare global experience that combines a waterfall with a sightseeing elevator. At the top of the waterfall, there is an 80-meter-long glass observation platform for visitors to enjoy the scenery. From the observation platform, you can admire the boundless beauty of Yunmen Mountain.

Built against the mountain and surrounded by clear waters, the resort boasts picturesque scenery. This is no ordinary mountain—it is a sacred Buddhist site, the birthplace of the Yunmen Sect, one of the five major schools of Chinese Buddhism.

With a total investment of 1.13 billion RMB, Yunmen Mountain Tourism Resort covers an area of 5 square kilometers. Leveraging the area’s exceptional natural landscape, the resort capitalizes on the cultural significance of Yunmen Temple as a Buddhist destination and its status as the "Hometown of the World’s Guoshanyao People." It highlights the distinctive themes of "Yunmen Zen Buddhism Culture" and "Guoshanyao Folk Culture." The resort is developed as a comprehensive tourist destination built to national 5A standards.

The scenic area has a forest vegetation coverage rate of 89.3%, with towering peaks, ancient trees, fresh air, blooming wildflowers, and a rich diversity of precious and wild flora and fauna. Year-round streams flow through the forest, and the area features water-friendly walking paths, canyon exploration trails, canyon sightseeing corridors, the 1,638-step Xiangyun Stairway, cascading waterfalls, a scenic glass bridge, a prayer platform, and a mountaintop observation deck.

Ticket Prices: Yunmen Mountain Resort in Ruyuan, Shaoguan – 60 RMB for the resort, 60 RMB for the water park, 120 RMB for the glass bridge + amusement rides, 110 RMB for the water park + rafting.
