Nanfang Yew Forest Park is a county-level nature reserve located in Daqiao Town in the northwest of Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Guangdong Province. It is accessible via the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and the Pingyue Highway, approximately 45 kilometers from Ruyuan County. This is a nature-based sightseeing and experiential scenic area, named for the large number of yew trees, which are classified as a first-class nationally protected plant.

Covering an area of 10,190 hectares, Nanfang Yew Forest Park is currently the best-preserved and largest yew forest park in Guangdong Province, home to over 100,000 yew trees of various sizes, including several thousand that are over a hundred years old. The park is situated in a high-altitude limestone mountainous region, with an average elevation of about 800 meters. It features a pristine yew forest, an artificially planted viewing area, a snow-viewing and summer retreat resort, a food garden, the Xijing Ancient Road (including the Xijing Ancient Road Museum), a yew and bamboo stone park, and a traditional folk culture ancient village. It is the only place in Guangdong Province where visitors can enjoy both snow and rime frost. The park serves as an ideal destination for sightseeing, science education, research, tourism, leisure, and vacation.
