Ostrich Village

The Ostrich Village Ecotourism Area is located 12 kilometers east of Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County and 39 kilometers from downtown Shaoguan. It is a comprehensive destination integrating ostrich hatching, breeding, reproduction, slaughtering, leather and feather processing, feed production, as well as sightseeing, dining, and accommodation. The total planned area spans 11,000 acres, and it currently houses a group of around 2,000 ostriches of the same age.

The Ostrich Village Ecotourism Area consists of five sections: the ecological zone, amusement zone, leisure resort zone, cultural square, and commercial services. As you enter Ostrich Village and follow the ecological path, exploring each area, you’ll find yourself in unforgettable, thrilling, and fun-filled scenarios of interacting with ostriches, enjoying barbecues and camping in the rustic countryside with curling smoke.
