Asia's Tallest Fountain

The Heyuan Xinfeng River Music Fountain is located in the center of the Xinfeng River, between the Heyuan Bridge and the Zhuhe Bridge in downtown Heyuan. It was funded and built by the Heyuan Municipal People's Government

and construction started on October 1, 1998,

with completion on February 6, 1999.

The fountain combines sound, light, water, and color, and consists of a main jet and auxiliary jets. The main jet features 8 types of water patterns, combining to create dozens of ever-changing, dazzling fountain displays—some like flowing gold and radiant splendor, fireworks among silver trees, others resembling a peacock spreading its tail or a rainbow drinking from the stream. It is a painting of water and a poem of lights, offering a delightful aesthetic experience. The main jet shoots a 169-meter water column straight into the sky, creating an awe-inspiring sight and currently ranking as Asia's tallest fountain. The auxiliary jets consist of 1,068 nozzles and 618 underwater colored lights. To the rhythm of cheerful melodies, they form dozens of constantly changing, vibrant displays through various water patterns such as straight jets, water curtains, waves, sprays, internal throws, swings, and mesh formations...
