Chashan Park is located by the Xinfeng River, on the right side of the municipal government compound, covering an area of 44,000 square meters. It is a multifunctional, multi-landscape comprehensive park that integrates sightseeing and entertainment. The park was first built in 1991 and constructed in two phases. The first phase was designed by the Guangzhou Urban Construction College and completed in 1996; the second phase was designed by the Foshan Gardens Department and completed in 1997, then handed over to the Municipal Public Utilities Bureau for management. Chashan Park is divided into eastern and western sections, centered around the TV transmission tower. The eastern part is a forested garden with a rustic charm, while the western part is a recreational plaza. The park features areas such as a plaza zone, a leisure area for seniors, a children’s activity zone, and a forested zone, with over ten scenic spots: a large fountain plaza, a nine-tier diamond-shaped cascading fountain, mushroom pavilions, Roman colonnades... When night falls and the lights come on, the park is bustling with visitors who laugh and sing, creating a joyful and peaceful atmosphere. Guests can either sit on the grass to enjoy the fragrance of nature or climb to higher ground to take in the breathtaking view of Asia’s tallest fountain, leaving them feeling refreshed and reluctant to leave.

Heyuan TV Tower is situated atop Chashan, the highest point of Chashan Park in the city center, standing by the Xinfeng River and less than 200 meters from Asia’s tallest musical fountain. The tower has a total height of 120 meters, with the iron structure reaching 100 meters. At the 60-meter level, there is the Cloud Pavilion, which covers an area of 100 square meters. The pavilion offers elegant seating, is surrounded by railings, and provides the best and highest vantage point to view the panoramic cityscape and the towering fountain.

The tower is equipped with a fast and smooth elevator to facilitate visitor access. The TV tower has not yet officially opened to the public, but it currently allows a limited number of visitors for night tours, charging a service fee of 10 RMB per person.
