Former Site of the Chishan Agricultural Association

The Former Site of the Chishan Agricultural Association is a Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism destination.

The Former Site of the Chishan Agricultural Association was originally the "Lingyu Nunnery" in Longshan Township during the Ming Dynasty. Under the advocacy and mobilization of Comrade Peng Pai, the agricultural association grew rapidly—from six initial members to over 500 members spanning 28 villages. In September 1922, Comrade Peng Pai personally presided over the establishment of the "Chishan Agricultural Association" here. In 1956, the People’s Government allocated funds to rebuild the site according to its original appearance. On July 7, 1962, the Guangdong Provincial People’s Committee designated it as a Provincial Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
