Haifeng Peasant Movement Institute

The Haifeng Peasant Movement Institute is a cultural relic protection unit of Haifeng County and a classic red tourism destination.

The Haifeng Peasant Movement Institute was founded on April 20, 1925, by Comrade Peng Pai. He personally served as the director and instructor, teaching courses such as "The Situation of the Dongjiang Peasant Movement," "Revolutionary Outlook on Life," "Organization of Peasant Associations," "Political Economy," "Revolutionary Culture Studies," and military training. After graduation, the students were subsequently dispatched to various counties in eastern Guangdong to engage in peasant movement and related work. The Haifeng Women's Liberation Association was officially established on June 7, 1925, with Comrade Peng Pai elected as its president. In 1962, the Haifeng County People's Committee designated it as a key cultural relic protection unit of Haifeng County.
